My roommate is infinitely better at making words sound pretty.
This went down while she was giving me advice on how to write my current essay assignment.

Roomie: “You could tell it in an impressionistic vignette style.”
Me: “I started out listening, because I heard the word ‘impressions’, but then you said ‘vignettes’ and I thought of puppets and salad dressing.”
